Today, East Kazakhstan Technical University had the honor of welcoming its distinguished alumnus — Deputy of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan from the East Kazakhstan Region, member of the Committee on Economic Policy, Innovative Development and Entrepreneurship, Shakarim Sabirovich Buktugutov.
Despite his busy schedule of official visits, Shakarim Sabirovich always finds time to visit D. Serikbayev EKTU, stays informed about our projects and new achievements, and actively supports the university’s initiatives.
During the visit, a warm and informal meeting was held with young scientists, who presented their ideas and research developments. The dialogue was meaningful and constructive.
Shakarim Sabirovich also informed the participants about amendments introduced to the Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On Subsoil and Subsoil Use,” aimed at improving subsoil management in the fields of hydrocarbons and uranium.
