The 2026–2027 academic year, D. Serikbayev East Kazakhstan Technical University will continue implementing the unique social and educational project “Silver University,” designed for older adults.
The project aims to create favourable conditions for improving the quality of life and promoting the social engagement of older people.
The Silver University offers the following free educational programmes:
- language courses (English and Kazakh);
- art therapy;
- digital literacy;
- legal fundamentals and financial security;
- health and wellness activities (fitness, chess, checkers and togyzkumalak).
Classes begin: October 2026.
Venue: D. Serikbayev East Kazakhstan Technical University.
