From July 29 to August 28, 2026, D. Serikbayev East Kazakhstan Technical University hosted a professional development course under the educational program «Modern Relay Protection: Calculation, Configuration and Operation».
The course participants were members of the academic staff of Toraighyrov University NJSC. The total duration of the professional development program was 144 hours.
The course was aimed at enhancing professional competencies in the field of modern relay protection and automation systems. During the training, participants studied key aspects of the calculation, configuration and operation of relay protection devices and took part in practical sessions at the Alternative and Conventional Energy Laboratory, where they became familiar with modern equipment and technologies used in the energy sector.
The course contributed to the development of the professional competencies of academic staff, the exchange of experience, and the strengthening of interuniversity cooperation. It also supported the integration of modern scientific and practical approaches into the educational process.
At the conclusion of the course, A. Member of the Management Board - Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of D. Serikbayev EKTU, presented certificates to the participants and wished them continued professional and academic success, effective application of the knowledge gained, and further fruitful cooperation between the universities.
