Engineering Entrepreneurship

The sub-department of “Engineering Entrepreneurship” was organized on the basis of the sub-department of “Economics and Management” in June 2017. Training of personnel is carried out according to the modern two-stage model of education "bachelor's-master's degree" in two educational programs:

• 5В050600 "Economics" (bachelor's degree);
• 6M050600 «Economics» (master's degree).

The disciplines of the economic cycle for students of technical specialties are also being conducted.

Mission of the sub-department - the formation of professional competences and personal qualities of competitive, creative and innovative-minded people who are able to realize their knowledge and skills of bachelors and masters degree students  in the field of economics in the domestic and international labor market on the basis of:

• constant modernization of the educational process;
• introduction of progressive technologies and teaching methods;
• active conduct of scientific research in the field of economics;
• stimulating interest in creative and research work.

Two educational programs 5В050600 - "Economics" and 6М050600 - "Economics" successfully passed international specialized accreditation in the Independent Kazakhstan Agency for Quality Assurance in Education (NIKAQAE) in April 2014.

Bilateral "Agreement on the implementation of educational master programs in a network form within the framework of the SCO University" was concluded between D. Serikbayev EKSTU and NRTU "Moscow Institute of Steel and Alloys" in November 2014. Under the program "Economics of Innovation" training in D. Serikbayev EKSTU - 1 year and in MISiA - 1 year, after graduation two diplomas are issued.
