With great pride, we congratulate Anar Burasheva, a graduate of our university’s Business School, on a truly historic achievement. Anar has become the first woman from Kazakhstan and the first woman from Central Asia to conquer all seven of the highest peaks on each continent, successfully completing the legendary mountaineering program, the Seven Summits.

In just two years, she ascended the planet’s most challenging and iconic peaks:

  • Mount Everest (8,818 m),
  • Aconcagua (6,962 m),
  • Denali (6,194 m),
  • Kilimanjaro (5,895 m),
  • Elbrus (5,642 m),
  • Vinson Massif in Antarctica (4,897 m),
  • Puncak Jaya (Carstensz Pyramid) (4,884 m).

Each of these summits represents not just a number in meters, but a true test of character, willpower, discipline, and self-belief. Anar Burasheva’s journey is powerful proof that Kazakhstani women are capable of conquering any heights when hard work, perseverance, and inner freedom stand behind a dream.

This achievement is a special source of pride for our university. Anar’s story is a strong example for students and young people: boundaries exist only as long as we believe in them. Her success inspires us to move forward, to not be afraid of difficult routes, and to boldly set ambitious goals — in education, science, professional life, sports, and beyond.

We sincerely congratulate Anar Burasheva on this outstanding success and wish her new heights, strong ascents, and bright victories ahead.

Your journey has already become part of history and a source of inspiration for young people across Kazakhstan.
