From June 15 to 19, the third stage of the international KAZUZGEONOMAD Summer School is being held in Atyrau, bringing together students and academic staff from leading universities in Kazakhstan and abroad. Students of D. Serikbayev East Kazakhstan Technical University (EKTU) are among the participants of this educational initiative.

The summer school is hosted by the Safi Utebayev Atyrau University of Oil and Gas. Participants are engaged in a comprehensive program that includes expert lectures, practical workshops, field studies, team projects, and discussions on current issues related to geology, ecology, and sustainable natural resource management.

One of the key features of the program is its international dimension. Alongside students from Kazakhstani universities, representatives of the University of Geological Sciences of Tashkent are also taking part in the summer school. This creates an excellent environment for academic exchange, professional networking, and international collaboration.

For EKTU students, participation in KAZUZGEONOMAD is a valuable opportunity to expand their knowledge, gain practical experience, learn about modern research methods, and build professional connections with experts and fellow students from other universities. For future geologists in particular, such an experience plays an important role in their academic and professional development.

The KAZUZGEONOMAD project aims to strengthen international cooperation, support young researchers, and contribute to the training of highly qualified specialists capable of addressing modern challenges in geology and sustainable resource management.

The participation of EKTU students in the summer school reflects the university’s commitment to academic mobility, international partnership development, and providing students with meaningful opportunities for professional growth and practical learning.
