A student of D. Serikbayev East Kazakhstan Technical University, Sanzhar Sailapkerov, from group 24-GTK-1, has become the East Kazakhstan Regional Champion in Classical Chess among players under 20.
The East Kazakhstan Regional Classical Chess Championship brought together the strongest young chess players of the region and was held in a highly competitive and intellectually intense atmosphere. Throughout the tournament, participants demonstrated a high level of preparation, strategic thinking, and mental resilience.
As a result of a series of challenging matches, Sanzhar Sailapkerov showed consistent and confident performance, securing first place and the championship title.
This achievement reflects the student’s dedication, discipline, and strong intellectual potential, and highlights the active involvement of VKTU students in intellectual sports alongside their academic pursuits.
