EKTU Demo Day 2026 was held at D. Serikbayev East Kazakhstan Technical University — a large-scale event aimed at developing startup projects, innovative thinking, and entrepreneurial culture among students.

Demo Day became a platform where talented students and young entrepreneurs presented their own startup ideas focused on IT, social media, education, culture, game development, and event organization. Participants showcased projects they had developed within the framework of academic, scientific, and project-based activities, receiving feedback from business representatives and potential investors.

The event contributed to the development of entrepreneurial competencies, the раскрытие of the intellectual and creative potential of young people, and the formation of a sustainable startup ecosystem at EKTU. Special attention was given to cooperation with external partners, public and youth organizations, which strengthened the practical orientation of the presented initiatives.

Based on the results of the competitive presentations, the jury identified the best startup projects:

  • 1st place — Enterra project, Bazarkat Zhandos, (Educational program Financial Management of Knowledge-Intensive Enterprises, field: IT and social media). The project is focused on digital solutions and the development of online platforms.
    Prize: laptop and iPhone 16.
  • 2nd place — Altai Development Week project, Kazym Asylbek, (Educational program Forest Resources and Forestry, field: event organization). The initiative is aimed at developing regional potential through event-based projects.Prize: laptop.
  • 3rd place — Chronicles of the Steppe project, Privalova Angelina, (Educational program Information Systems, field: education, history, game development). The project combines digital technologies, historical heritage, and game-based learning formats.
    Prize: iPhone 16.

The sponsor of the event was Kazzinc, to whom the university expresses its gratitude for consistent support of student initiatives and its contribution to the development of youth entrepreneurship.

The holding of EKTU Demo Day 2026 confirmed the high level of innovative potential of EKTU students and became an important stage in the development of startup culture and the university’s entrepreneurial environment.
