D. Serikbayev East Kazakhstan Technical University (EKTU) hosted the key autumn forum AI-Sana: EKTU Demo Day, organized as part of the national AI-Sana program, implemented with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Department of Digitalization and Archives of the East Kazakhstan Region.
AI-Sana is a unique platform that brings together young researchers, students, and industry experts to create innovative digital solutions using artificial intelligence. The program is aimed at developing a project-oriented culture, supporting promising ideas, and training a new generation of technological leaders in Kazakhstan with a strong focus on information technologies, particularly artificial intelligence.
The central highlight of the event was the project defense session, where students presented a wide range of practical projects demonstrating the potential to improve processes and quality of life across various sectors:
- AgroLink — a digital B2B platform for direct agricultural product supply;
- Class Schedule Bot — an intelligent assistant for organizing the educational process;
- ColorJudge — an image analysis system for marketing and design;
- Dravon — a smart price aggregator from online marketplaces;
- Eye Tracking — AI for early detection of autism spectrum disorders in children;
- HealHub — medical diagnosis based on imaging data (MRI, ECG, fluorography);
- Leo Akhamad — an innovative project;
- NeuroMap — a map for anonymous marking of suspicious locations;
