On November 5, 2026, D. Serikbayev East Kazakhstan Technical University hosted the 2026 Republican Job Fair, “Kazakhstan: Career Opportunities” («Қазақстан: мансап мүмкіндіктері»). The event provided a platform for students and graduates to engage directly with leading employers from across the country.
The fair brought together representatives of major Kazakhstani companies and organizations, including Qarmet, Eurasian Group (ERG), KAZ Minerals, Kazzinc, Ulba Metallurgical Plant, United Energy Service Company, Vostoktsvetmet, and other employers. The Chinese company SNEGTАI BIOTECH CO., Ltd. participated in the fair for the first time.
Students and graduates had the opportunity to speak with company representatives, explore current vacancies, learn about internships and practical training programmes, and discuss employment conditions and career prospects. Employers introduced their companies, outlined the skills and qualifications they seek in young professionals, and answered participants’ questions.
These face-to-face conversations helped future specialists gain a clearer understanding of labour market expectations, receive practical advice, and take meaningful steps towards their careers. For employers, the fair offered an opportunity to meet promising young talent and showcase career paths within their organizations.
The “Kazakhstan: Career Opportunities” Republican Job Fair strengthened cooperation between D. Serikbayev EKTU and employers across Kazakhstan, broadened employment opportunities for graduates, and highlighted the university’s important role in connecting education with the labour market.
