Independent rating institutions of Kazakhstan Republic was introduced by the Independent Agency of accreditation and rating, that was published in the newspaper "Truth of Kazakhstan" dated 22.07.2014. According to results, D. Serikbayev East Kazakhstan state technical University occupied the fourth seat in top-20 the best universities of the country, taking prizes on 17 specialities of the bachelor degree, 16 – the master degree and 1^st  - doctorate.
