D. Serikbayev East Kazakhstan Technical University (EKTU) places special emphasis on the cultural development of its students and traditionally supports their engagement with the arts. In the new academic year 2025–2026, students once again have the opportunity to attend performances at the East Kazakhstan Regional Drama and Operetta Theater free of charge.
The season’s opening was celebrated by students at the premiere of “Shynarym menin, Sharaylym menin” — a work that has become part of the golden fund of Kazakh dramaturgy. The production, rich in meaning, explored timeless themes of love, family values, and human relationships, leaving a strong impression on the audience.
Students noted the high professionalism of the actors, the expressiveness of the artistic design, and the theater’s contribution to the development of national art.
Such cultural initiatives by EKTU continue the tradition of spiritual and educational events, fostering a harmonious personality by combining educational and developmental goals.
