October 9-10, 2017, the training seminar on participation in "Technovation Challenge" international competition will be held at D. Serikbayev  East Kazakhstan State Technical University. 

Technovation Challenge is a technology and entrepreneurial international program for girls, its mission is to increase the interest of girls in the field of information technology and entrepreneurship. Within the program schoolgirls under the guidance of Technovation Challenge mentors develop a mobile application with social significance in such areas as education, health, peace, poverty reduction, social equality and environment. The results of work in the form of a prototype mobile application and business plan are to be submitted at the regional competition in Kazakhstan, the finalists of which get to compete for the right to go to the finals in San Francisco, USA (at the expense of the inviting party). The prize fund for the implementation of an application is 10 000 USD. Participation in the program is free.

The seminar is organized by the School of Information Technology and Energy.
