An open environmental lecture titled “Ecology Hour” was held on the grounds of the East Kazakhstan Regional Architectural, Ethnographic, Natural and Landscape Museum-Reserve. The event was organized as part of the “Taza Qazaqstan” environmental initiative and was held with the participation of students of the Higher IT College of D. Serikbayev East Kazakhstan Technical University.
The main goal of the “Ecology Hour” was to raise students’ environmental awareness, foster a responsible and caring attitude toward the environment, and develop interest in nature conservation issues. During the event, participants received useful information about preserving natural resources, maintaining environmental cleanliness, and the personal responsibility of each individual for an environmentally sustainable future.
The educational Eco-QUIZ “Tabiğatty qorğaiyq!” — “Let’s Protect Nature!” attracted particular interest among the participants. During the quiz, students answered questions, tested their knowledge, discussed environmental issues, and explored possible solutions together. The interactive format made the event not only informative but also engaging and memorable.
The “Ecology Hour”, held as part of the “Taza Qazaqstan” initiative, became an important step toward developing environmental culture among young people. The event once again reminded everyone that the cleanliness of the environment depends on each of us.
