D. Serikbayev East Kazakhstan Technical University hosted an official visit from Colin Guard, Cultural Affairs Officer at the U.S. Embassy in Astana.

During the visit, a meeting was held with the university leadership to discuss the development of science, innovation, and international cooperation. The parties exchanged views on expanding collaboration in research, strengthening academic partnerships, and implementing joint projects.

Colin Guard was introduced to the university’s research activities and innovation initiatives, with particular attention given to supporting young researchers and enhancing students’ research potential.

As part of the visit, he toured the university’s research laboratories and became acquainted with their modern facilities and ongoing projects. The work of the laboratories was highly appreciated and recognized for its significance in advancing regional and international science.
