Goal
  • The purpose of the discipline is to develop undergraduates' research and practice-oriented competencies in the field of cost estimation and investment analysis of construction projects through independent research, mastering professional experience during internships in specialized organizations, as well as developing and defending a master's project aimed at solving urgent problems in the construction industry.
Objective
  • Formation of undergraduates' skills in conducting independent scientific and applied research in the field of cost estimation and investment analysis of construction projects, development of skills to apply modern methods of data collection, processing and analysis, acquisition of practical experience during internships in specialized organizations, as well as the formation of competencies for the development, justification and protection of a master's project, taking into account the requirements of scientific and professional activities.
Learning outcome: knowledge and understanding
  • The undergraduate student knows and understands the methodological foundations of conducting research and experimental work, modern methods of collecting, processing and analyzing data in the field of cost estimation and investment analysis of construction projects, as well as the principles of organizing and executing a master's project and completing a professional internship.
Learning outcome: applying knowledge and understanding
  • The master's student is able to apply knowledge and understanding of research methodology to solve practical problems of cost estimation and investment analysis of construction projects, use modern methods of data collection, processing and analysis during the master's project and during the internship, as well as substantiate the research results.
Learning outcome: formation of judgments
  • The master's student is able to form sound scientific and professional judgments based on the analysis of the results of experimental research, critically evaluate the data obtained and alternative approaches, as well as substantiate conclusions and recommendations within the framework of the master's project on cost estimation and investment analysis of construction projects.
Learning outcome: communicative abilities
  • The master's student is able to effectively carry out professional and scientific communication during experimental research, present research results in oral and written forms, participate in discussions and defense of the master's project, as well as interact with representatives of relevant organizations during the internship in the field of cost estimation and investment analysis of construction projects.
Learning outcome: learning skills or learning abilities
  • The master's student is able to independently plan, organize and improve his own research activities, effectively use modern information and analytical resources to complete the master's project, as well as continuously develop professional competencies during the internship and further educational and scientific activities in the field of cost estimation and investment analysis of construction projects.
