Sector of International Innovative Programs

Sector of International Innovative Programs was established for solving tasks of the university on implementing innovative international programs of high level, and it is a structural subdivision of IPUE and NET.

Main goals:

• Assistance to departments and other subdivisions of D. Serikbaev East Kazakhstan State Technical State University in organizing work on modern innovative programs of high international level with the leading foreign higher educational institutions.
• Dissemination of international practical experience of innovative activity in the sphere of education and science.
• Coordinating of the activity of Kazakhstani accredited center of international pedagogy and conducting classes, seminars, courses for meeting the demands of the faculty in acquisition of special knowledge in the field of advanced educational technologies.
• Participating in the work of establishing an international accrediting center.
• Participating in international organizations such as IGIP and IFEES, through Kazakhstani National Monitoring Committee IGIP and Kazakhstani Society of Engineering Pedagogy.
• Attracting of non-budget funds through rendering educational service.

Functions and Main Activities:

• Establishing contacts with the leading foreign higher engineering institutions and cooperation with them. Exchange of ideas and experience with the faculty of foreign universities. Keeping contacts with specialists in different areas of engineering education.
• Studying programs of high international level implementing them into the educational process of D. Serikbaev East- Kazakhstan State Technical University.
• Improvement of existing programs of high international level and their adapting for the use in D. Serikbaev East- Kazakhstan State Technical University.
• Organization of educating the faculty on up-to-date courses of engineering pedagogy programs, recommended by the society of engineering pedagogy in the centers, accredited at IGIP and IFEES.
• Presenting the information about all events, held by IGIP and IFEES to all higher education institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
• Taking part in organization of the educational process on the base of interaction with the sub-departments and departments of EKSTU on all kinds of innovative education.
• Consulting and advertizing activity.
• Work on sending applications to the International Monitoring Committee for receiving the titles of an International Faculty Member of an Engineering Higher Education Institution (ING-PAED IGIP) and European Engineer (EUR-ING) through Kazakhstan National Monitoring Committee IGIP.
• Organizational activity is carried out on the basis of agreements, concluded with higher education and other institutions.
• Issuing the corresponding papers to the learners who finish the educational courses.
• Work on forming a team of the leading teachers and scientists of D. Serikbaev EKSTU, and also leading scientists, heads of enterprises, organizations, and institutions for teaching in Kazakhstan accredited Center of Engineering Pedagogy.
• Work of the faculty in Kazakhstan accredited Center of Engineering Pedagogy is carried out on the basis of in-university or off-university part-time work, or according to terms of a work contract, which is signed by every person of the pointed category and the Vice-rector on educational work.
