Responsible for work with intellectual property of EKSTU:
- Executes together with the authors the registration and filing of applications for patenting, registration in the State Register of Intellectual Property Objects in accordance with the current regulatory documents;
- keeps records of titles of protection received by university staff;
- Conducts correspondence with the Committee on Intellectual Property Rights of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
- provides advisory assistance to university employees and students in carrying out patent research using databases of Russian and foreign patent offices;
- provides practical and advisory assistance on the creation, legal protection and commercialization of intellectual property;
- coordinates and keeps records of publications Professor and teaching staff and university researchers;
- maintains a register of publications of the faculty and researchers of the university, published in scientific journals with an impact factor;
- participates in the formation of collections of the scientific journal "D.Serikbaev EKSTU messenger ».
