The educational program "Mechanical Engineering and Reverse Engineering" is designed to train highly qualified specialists with knowledge and practical skills in the design, production, operation and modernization of machines, mechanisms and technical systems.

The program generates:

• knowledge in design and engineering of machinery and equipment;
• ability to use modern reverse engineering technologies to restore and improve parts and products;
• ability to develop design and process documentation;
• skills in engineering analysis, testing and evaluation of technical systems efficiency;
• competence in the field of organization and management of production processes of machine-building enterprises;
• skills in using modern methods of digital modeling, 3D scanning and additive technologies.

Graduates of the educational program "Mechanical Engineering and Reverse Engineering" can work:

• design engineers;
• process engineers;
• Reverse engineering specialists;
• CAD/CAM/CAE engineers;
• 3D modeling and 3D scanning specialists;
• equipment operation and maintenance engineers;
• heads of production divisions of machine-building enterprises;
• specialists of research and development organizations.

Within the framework of the OP "Mechanical Engineering and Reverse Engineering," dual training is carried out on the basis of Allur Auto LLP (Kostanay). There, students work at workplaces at an auto assembly plant, while continuing their studies in the specialty in a distance format.

Currently, classes in special disciplines of the educational program are conducted by 4 candidates of sciences, 3 doctors of PhD and 3 masters. Students are actively engaged in research activities.

When implementing the educational program, it is mandatory to involve students in research work. The results of scientific research of students are regularly published in publications of republican and international importance. Students take an active part in competitions of student scientific works, in Republican and International scientific conferences of young scientists and students.

There is a campus for nonresident students. Teachers regularly hold thematic meetings with students.

Students are trained at the military Department in the following specialties:

• Operation and maintenance of basic machinery of armored vehicles;
• Operation and repair of the material part of ground, reactive tank and self-propelled artillery.

Educational program - "Mechanical engineering and reverse engineering," in contrast to other engineering specialties of our university, we train international specialists in design, technological and research areas of training:

• mechanical engineering technology (3D modeling);
• oaddative technologies (3D reverse).

For training focused on managing professional competence, concluding agreements on joint actions in the government and organizing a practical base for machine-building enterprises (Kazzinc LLP, Hydrostalkonstruktsiya JSC, Ust-Kamenogorsk Industrial Reinforcement Plant JSC, Ust-Kamenogorsk Reinforcement Plant JSC, Vostokmashzavod JSC Allurauto. ASTANA MOTORS,).

After graduation, the student is awarded an academic degree of bachelor of technology and technology under the educational program of the 6B07120 "Mechanical Engineering and Reverse Engineering."

After graduation, graduates have the opportunity to continue their studies at the graduate school of VKTU im D, Serikbaev under the educational program of the specialty 7M07111 "Mechanics and Metalworking." After completing the magistracy, graduates can continue research activities and doctoral studies at the 8D07102 "Mechanical Engineering".
