Huawei Academy

D. Serikbayev East Kazakhstan Technical University has been developing cooperation with Huawei since 2022. The key areas of cooperation include developing students’ digital competencies, enhancing practical training, and introducing modern educational technologies in the field of information and communication technologies.

In May 2022, the Huawei Academy was officially established at the university. The Academy focuses on providing students with training through Huawei’s educational programs and specialized courses.

At the Huawei Academy, students gain theoretical knowledge and practical skills in modern areas of information and communication technologies. Currently, training is provided through the Datacom, AI Sana, and Storage courses. Upon successful completion of the courses, students have the opportunity to obtain Huawei certificates that validate their professional competencies and are recognized internationally.

An important area of cooperation is the participation of EKTU students in the Huawei ICT Competition, an international competition. Every year, university students take part in the competition, demonstrating their knowledge and practical skills in telecommunications, information technologies, artificial intelligence, and other digital fields.

The activities of the Huawei Academy contribute to the development of students’ professional competencies, the expansion of their practical experience, and their readiness for professional careers in the field of digital technologies.
