Academic misconduct consists of actions aimed at obtaining an improper academic advantage.
The most common forms of misconduct include:
- plagiarism—the use of other people’s texts or ideas without citing the source;
- cheating during examinations or testing;
- forgery or falsification of data;
- use of other people’s work;
- unauthorised collaboration.
Depending on the nature of the violation, disciplinary measures provided for by the university’s regulatory documents may be applied.
