The seminar began with the broadcasting of the video. Aizhan Sadykova, the head of the education Department  of East Kazakhstan region made  a welcome speech. She stressed in her report the importance of modern education modernization. Also, Aizhan  Erzhanovna told about the introduction experience of  innovative projects of East Kazakhstan region.

- Today we are talking about new projects that will create new opportunities for career counseling and development students a modern, future professional competencies in the areas of electronics, mechatronics, programming, Internet of things, 3D modeling, prototyping, augmented reality and multimedia journalism - Aizhan Sadykova said.

Pavel Chernykh, the Head of the WorldSkills project (Russia, Saint-Petersburg, Russia) told about the program JuniorSkills, including the creation of a package of materials for skills or professions.

- Project "Bolashak mamandary" is the basis of training students to join the program JuniorSkills. This program is of early vocational guidance, basic vocational training and competitions students in professional skills. This movement was initiated in Russia in 2014, in partnership with WorldSkills Russia, - Pavel Chernykh said.

Sergey  Kovalenko, Director of East Kazakhstan Regional Center of New Technologies in Education, Education Department of East Kazakhstan region told about  the implementation of innovative projects of "Bolashak mamandary", "Multimedia journalism" and perspective projects of the center ("I – engineer", "Multimedia journalism", "School-UNIVERSITY").

- It is no coincidence we are holding the first regional foresight workshop at D. Serikbaev EKSTU. Indeed, in the framework of the project "School-UNIVERSITY" there was signed a Memorandum with D. Serikbaev EKSTU, where since the 2016-2017 academic year there are training of pupils of 10-11 classes in the “Saturday” school to receive practical skills at the University in technical disciplines. Pupils gain knowledge from leading professors of the University, are preparing for participation in Republican, International competitions, - Sergey Kovalenko said.

Then the seminar continued in the focus groups on competency and master-classes. Coaches of focus groups were EKSTU teachers: the competence of "mechatronics" - Alexander Krasavin, the competence of "Robotics" - Dmitry Titov, in the competence "Programming" - Indira Ualieva, the moderator of the focus groups on the competence of the "Internet of things" - Dmitry Zyryanov.
