Student Ecological club "FOREST"

Motto: We will not let the forest be offended, we will protect it from all troubles!

The goal of the club: to intensify work on the environmental education of students, the formation of an ecological culture, and the education of love for their native land.

The club's objectives:

  • To unite students for the exchange of knowledge, skills and abilities in the field of ecology, nature management, forestry, landscaping and landscaping of populated areas.
  • To familiarize the club members with the methods and techniques of the simplest scientific research and experiments.
  • Education of the need to expand knowledge, responsibility for the state of the environment and the desire for specific activities to protect it.
  • Transition to sustainable development and joining forces in solving global environmental problems.

Club membership

  • The members of the Club are university students. Admission to the club is based on personal desire.
  • The members of the club contribute to its activities in every possible way.

The basic principles of the club's activities:

  • Volunteerism – any university student who fulfills the requirements of these regulations and recognizes the Program of the ecological club can become a member of the ecological club on a voluntary basis.
  • Equal rights – each member of the ecological club, doing what he likes, submits to the self-government bodies, fulfills the requirements of the general meeting of the association's members.
  • Self–government - all issues of the ecological club are resolved at general meetings and conferences.

Main events:

  • Conducting classes dedicated to the study, discussion, and debate on topical environmental issues in our region, country, and the world of our time, past, and future. 
  • Organization of hikes to significant places in the region in order to study the state of vegetation, with documentation, photo and video recording.
  • The organization of the museum based on materials found in the places where the expedition routes took place.
  • Organization of excursions.
  • Environmental advocacy and education.
  • Creating a wall of "Club History" and maintaining.
  • Research and promotional activities, seminars and round tables.
  • Reading books with consideration of the most important human problems in relation to nature by modern authors and authors of the Soviet/pre-Soviet period, domestic and foreign, studying their views and learning from experience.
  • Organization of reports on significant work done.
