Structure of Office of information educational technologies

Office of information educational technologies is comprised of the following laboratories and subdivisions:

  • Sector of Distance Education organizational and courseware supply;
  • Educational Site Supply and Maintenance Sector
  • Multimedia Laboratory;
  • Educational Consultant.

Sector of Distance Education Organizational and Courseware Supplydeals with planning and organizing distance learning academic process together with subdepartments and Department maintain distance learning documentation, coordinate activity of distance learning centers, arranges qualification improvement measures and staff certification in distance learning organization, methods and didactic means of distance learning. This sector also organizes monitoring procedure of nonpublic documents, Virtual Institute nomenclature, formulates and agrees upon routine administrative documents, sends and collects the documents providing interaction of Virtual Institute and its subdivisions, draws up applications for delivery, repair and write-off of the Office of information educational technologies supplies.

Educational Site Supply and Maintenance Sector designs, implements and maintains software, information and hardware of distance learning, supports, updates subsystems of educational portal and other software solutions of the university  corporate information system(CIS) to make them effective, studies and solves questions of infosecurity CIS, designs software technical specification , trains teaching staff to apply decision-support  software products in the training and operating process, studies  decision-support  software marketing in Kazakhstan IT market, implement its commercialization and offers outside organizations its services in program product  and resources maintenance.

Multimedia Laboratory designsthe most up-to-date digital educational resources to form an information educational content of high quality in two main areas of digital educational resources (e-books, virtual laboratory facilities and others) and electronic educational resources(distance learning content and other distance learning techniques), arranges teachers staff professional improvement in using of achievements in the sphere of  new information technologies.
