The Meeting of teachers, undergraduates, students with honored professor of Indiana University in the USA William Fierman was the 15-th of September in 2015 at the department of Kazakh and Russian languages. Teachers have asked actual questions concerning the language policy of Kazakhstan. For example:
- What is the language situation in Kazakhstan now?
- Has the language policy changed in Kazakhstan since an acceptance of independence?
- How do you understand the idea of promoting the trinity of languages (Kazakh, Russian and English)?
At the meeting were Vice-rector for educational work Zh. Nazbiev and the Head of the Social and Civic Development B. Zlobin.
