The Psychological Service (hereinafter referred to as the Service) provides psychological support to students of higher and postgraduate educational institutions.
In its activities, the Service is guided by the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On Public Health and the Healthcare System,” the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On Education,” “On State Youth Policy in the Republic of Kazakhstan,” “On Religious Activities and Religious Associations,” “On Combating Corruption,” as well as other regulatory legal acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Main Areas of Activity
1. Psychodiagnostic Support
- Psychological assessment of students to identify features of their psychological development.
 - Comprehensive psychological evaluation for adaptation, development, and socialization, including detection of addictive and suicidal behavior.
 - Assessment of students’ abilities, interests, and aptitudes.
 - Preparation of reports and recommendations based on diagnostic results.
 
2. Consulting Support
- Counseling for students, parents, and teachers upon request.
 - Individual and group counseling sessions for students and parents.
 - Psychological assistance to students experiencing stress, conflict, or strong emotional distress.
 - Online counseling (audio/video), as well as consultations via the Service’s hotline.
 
3. Educational and Preventive Work
- Conducting seminars and trainings with students, departments, and faculty representatives.
 - Distribution of informational and illustrative materials (leaflets, brochures).
 
4. Corrective and Developmental Support
- Trainings on personal growth, self-regulation, and stress resistance.
 - Organization of developmental sessions for personal, intellectual, emotional, and creative growth.
 - Conflict resolution and mediation upon request.
 
5. Social and Informational Support
- Cooperation with specialists (social workers, psychiatrists, nurses, vice-deans for student affairs, dormitory staff, academic advisors, and group leaders) to address issues beyond the scope of the Service.
 - Unified dialogue platform with education and healthcare professionals based on the “One-Window” principle.
