On May 16-22, the exhibition Days of Kazakhstan Education in Uzbekistan took place in Samarkand and Tashkent. Our university was represented by the specialist of the DIIC, D. Askarova.

The exhibition aim is the attraction of school graduates and students from Uzbekistan to the D. Serikbayev EKSTU, within the framework of the formation of Kazakhstan as an educational Hub in Central Asia.

The exhibition was organized with the assistance of the Embassy in the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Samarkand Oblast Hokimiyat, the Education and Science Department of the Republican Kazakh National Cultural Center in Uzbekistan.

In her welcoming speech, Zulfiya Torebekova, vice-president of JSC "Center for International Programs" noted that holding a three-day exhibition is of great importance for strengthening and expanding bilateral cooperation in the field of education between the Republic of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. Representatives of 15 leading national universities describe the opportunities and prospects for obtaining education in our country for students.

During the exhibition, the participants expressed their interest in the online presence of the university, as today young people prefer to receive information from different sources.

In turn, undergraduates and doctoral students showed a great interest in the research and production base of EKSTU with the purpose of passing practical training, internships and writing dissertational and scientific works with the help of the academic staff of the university.

As a result of the working trip, 73 participants of the exhibition expressed a desire to enter our university for bachelor's, master's and doctoral programs in the fields of "Medical technology", "Economics", "Energy", "Information technology", etc.
