Within the framework of the IV Congress of the Central Asia students, celebration of Nauryz took place in the Altai State University in Barnaul, Russia. Representatives of Friendship House – Center of Public Consent of East Kazakhstan Region, T. Askhan, P. Sagymbekova; Chairman of the Scientific and Expert Group of the Assembly of Kazakhstan’s nations, A. Alekseyenko; and the Expert of International Coordinating Council “Our common home Altai,” candidate of historical sciences of Russia and Kazakhstan, associate professor of “The history of Kazakhstan and the Assembly of Kazakhstan’s nations” Department of EKSTU named after D. Serikbaev, K. Kaliyeva.
During the congress, the meeting between representatives from Kazakhstan and Altai State University’s students, the Republic of Kazakhstan’s citizens and the Association of Foreign Students took place. “Ruhani Zhanhyru” state program was presented on the meeting. It should be noted that event was organized by the Honorary Department: "Kazakhstan way and N. Nazarbayev" of ASU, which is headed by the Doctor of Historical Sciences and Professor Yu. Lysenko.
Member of the Expert Council of the Project Office of the East Kazakhstan region, associate professor of the history of Kazakhstan and the Assembly of Kazakhstan’s nations of EKSTU, K. Kaliyeva, familiarized participants of the event with the main theses of the program article of the President of Kazakhstan, N.Nazarbayev, "The look into the future: modernization of public consciousness" and projects in the region. The presentation caused considerable interest among the audience.
Expert of International Coordinating Council “Our common house Altai” mentioned that one of the key factors for the peaceful overcoming of cultural and civilizational differences is the modernization of consciousness.
Also the delegation of East Kazakhstan Region visited the Center of Kazakh Language and Culture of Altai Pedagogical University. Associate Professor Kaliyeva presented to the members of the Center information about EKSTU and training opportunities in Kazakhstan. The life of the Kazakh diaspora and the Center was told by M. Bekmuratov, the Head of the Altai regional public organization "National and cultural autonomy of Kazakhs".
The second day of the Congress ended with the festive concert and presentation of national dishes.
