Center for International Scientific and Educational Programs

Center for International Scientific and Educational Programs executes all type of work concerning international cooperation of the university - searches educational programs, selects applicants for participating in them, prepares papers. Regularly conducts organizational and translation work, meets foreign delegations, keeps contacts with other higher educational institutions and organizations – partners.

Major goals of CISEP:

• Realization of the state policy on developing of international cooperation in education within the frames of Bologna Process.
• Developing and realization of complex task programs on improving international cooperation.
• Information gathering, studying and making analytical materials about main world tendencies of education development.
• Organization of work for implementing unified international system of education taking into consideration the peculiarities of higher education institutions – partners of D. Serikbaev EKSTU.
• Creating conditions for studying foreign languages by the faculty and students of the university.
• Selecting students of the university for studying in the best foreign universities.
• Providing educational, economic, and living conditions for foreign citizens for the period of their education, work, or scientific research on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Functions of the Center:

• Developing strategies of the international activity of the university, integration of EKSU into world educational and scientific space; realization of steps for developing international cooperation in the area of training specialists, the faculty advanced training, conjoint educational-methodological and research programs, publishing activities, and other direct agreements with foreign partners.
• Preparing texts of agreements with foreign partners and introducing the suggestions for their realization. Control of their realization.
• Organization and realization of work for searching and attracting international organizations educational and scientific grants in the university.
• Supporting the exchange of the university faculty and students between the faculty and students of the universities-partners through international scientific- educational cooperation.
• Giving general advice to education, training, work, living, and observance of passport regime by foreign lecturers and students.
• Explaining visa terms to foreign citizens, faculty, students.
• Organization of meeting and stay of foreign delegations; preparing programs, budget papers of stay; solving arising problems concerning foreign citizens stay in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
• Gathering of information about international market of study, strategic partners of the university, spheres of the university interests application; the information analysis.
• Organization of regular communication with foreign partners of the university by means of up-to-date communication.
